Nina Schaffer

"Incident: Disorderly Conduct

Date of Incident: 5 July 2014

Location: 6000 block of Zion Road, Salisbury, MD

Suspect: Nina Renee Schaffer, 29, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 5 July 2014 at 12:24 AM a deputy responded to a residence in the 6000 block of Zion Road and met with Nina Schaffer in reference to an incident that happened on their property. Upon arrival, the deputy discovered that the problem had been solved and that Schaffer was no longer in need of assistance from the Sheriff’s Office. Schaffer became belligerent towards the deputy, demanding he leave her property.

After the departure of the deputy, Schaffer began making repeated calls to the Sheriff’s Office via 911, each time being belligerent and using profanity towards the Sheriff’s Office personnel on the other end. Despite repeated warnings to cease her unnecessary calls, Schaffer did not, at one point even demanding to be taken to the county jail, which caused the deputy to return and place her under arrest.

Upon arrest, Schaffer continued to be belligerent and uncooperative, at times attempting to free herself from the deputy’s patrol vehicle while opening the door. Following an initial appearance in front of the District Court Commissioner, Schaffer was released on $10,000.00 unsecured bond.

 Charges: Disorderly Conduct

                 Resist / Interfere with Arrest

                 Telephone Misuse"

Personally, It seems to me like Nina Schaffer wanted to be arrested. She was on site of an "incident" that was taken care of but still proceeded to be aggressive and rude to an officer, and THEN takes it even farther by calling the Sheriff's Office for no reason? I think someone's a little crazy here...
