A local man from Wicomico County was sentenced to five years in jail due to a drug charge for the possession of heroin. The reason for the charge was in fact the result of a previous incident that occured with the man--Troy Connors--when police were notified about a possible heroin overdose. At that time, investigators found syringes, cotton balls and heroin in his jacket. Connors claimed he was unaware of them when he was already being accused of using heroin. Within three minutes of his trial he was found guilty, and I can't say I blame the judge.

The only advice I have for Connors is, why lie if you've already been caught?
