Blake Shelton really enjoys his experience on The Voice, and he tells us that's because, in large part, of the relationships he has formed on the hit NBC show.
"Those friendships, they're probably my favorite thing that's happened as far as working on that show, whether it's with the contestants or the other coaches. It's just people I would've probably otherwise never crossed paths with and they ended up some of them being the closest people in my life in recent times. It's hard to make new friends doing what I do. You kind of know who you knew growing up and you've kind of got a handful of people around you that you trust and working onThe Voice just created these friendships with people that you just really have a lot in common with even though you would think there's no way I would ever have anything in common with Usher or Cee Lo or somebody like that. It turns out we've got a lot to talk about."
Blake met his latest musical collaboration partner on the set of The Voice. Gwen Sebastian was a Team Blake contestant during Season Two of the show, and now she's featured on Blake's new single, "My Eyes." They debuted the song during last weekend's ACM Awards.
