Raelynn visited Salisbury earlier this week to speak about living with diabetes. It was a wonderful time for her to inspire and share her experiences at Peninsula Regional Medical Center Monday night. She was on a flight to Salisbury from Charlotte Sunday night when the incident allegedly happened.
She claims a flight attendant repeatedly harassed her about Jazz, her service dog. Jazz is an 85 lb German Shepard that specializes in diabetes. He is trained to sense when Raelynn has low blood sugar and accompanies her on most, if not all, of her trips.
Raelynn says that the attendant accused her of not being compliant several times and was very loud on the small regional plane.
American Airlines has reached out to Raelynn and is investigating the incident.
