Jimmie Allen is working on a movie based on his life. He shared some details with Variety, calling the film "a country version of 8 Mile.” While he plans to do some acting in the film, he's looking to Hollywood to really tell the story saying, "The plan is to bring in a few A-list actors to play some roles and bring some attraction to the movie . . . My dream would be to have either Will Smith or Jamie Foxx play my dad. That would be intense."
There is no timeline or tentative release date for the movie.
In the meantime, Jimmie has released a new Ford-sponsored video for his album cut "Boy Gets A Truck." It stars his awesome five year old son Aadyn!
