New data reveals that Delaware reached its highest seatbelt usage in 2023 at nearly 94-percent. Law enforcement officials are in the middle of a new Occupant Protection and Distracted Driving enforcement effort that'll continue into mid-February. Forty-two people died last year in crashes when they weren't secured by a seatbelt.
