Grilled Cheese Survey
A poll by Pepperidge Farm reveals that Americans eat enough grilled cheese sandwiches in a year to fill nearly 900 Olympic-sized swimming pools. Other findings:
- the average person eats 36 grilled cheeses per year
- If everyone in the nation eats the average amount, it would cover 29,180 football fields
- 62% of people say grilled cheese is best made at home
- 40% of people prefer eating grilled cheese for lunch
