Ocean City is preparing for a major event that will draw thousands to the resort town next week. From Tuesday May 14 through Sunday May 19, Ocean City will be designated as a Special Event Zone due to the Cruisin' Ocean City event. There will be an increased police presence as Maryland State Police and the Worcester County Sheriff's Office assist with the law enforcement duties. Ocean City visitors can expect high traffic congestion and alternate traffic patterns.
