A new survey by ABC reveals that 64% of people believe the person who initiates a first date should then pay for that date. Other findings:
- 32% of people think a first date bill should be split, regardless of who asked whom out
- 4% of people believe the person who earns more money should pay for the first date
- 72% of women feel it's important to offer to pay, even if they don't intend to
- 28% of men say they feel pressure to pay for a first date
