A survey by the Pets Table reveals that 85% of dog owners consider their pets their children. Other findings:
- 76% of dog parents think their pooch is the "main character" of their family
- 41% of people turn to their dog rather than their partner after a stressful day
- 70% of people find it acceptable for their dogs to be on their couch
