A new survey by Talker Research reveals that 82% of dog owners believe in 'love at first sight' with their pets. Other findings:
- 80% of people felt an immediate connection with their dog, compared to 69% with their partner
- 74% of people say their bond with their dog is stronger because it was built over time.
- 87% of people are more likely to believe in love at first sight with animals than with people (62%)
- 53% of dog owners feed their dogs better than they feed themselves
