A new survey by QS Supplies reveals that 19% of workers refuse to use their office restroom for "extended" bathroom emergencies. Other findings:
- 34% of workers are terrified to use the office restroom for embarrassing 'business'
- 25% of workers would rather "hold it" all day and use their bathroom at home than use the one at their office
- 60% of workers have spotted an unflushed toilet after a colleague used it
- 6% of workers don't bother with a "courtesy flush"
- 30% of workers admit to flushing the toilet to mask embarrassing restroom sounds
- nearly 50% of employees admit to passing gas in front of a co-worker
- 17% of workers have mapped out their favorite bathrooms in the office in order to have the best chance at privacy
- 34% of workers have used restrooms on different floors or far from their office in order to maintain privacy
