A new survey by Parents magazine reveals that many people still believe unproven pregnancy myths, despite advances in technology. Study findings:
- 29% of people believe heartburn during pregnancy means the baby will be born with a lot of hair
- 21% of people think spicy foods can induce labor
- 1 in 5 of people believe the moon phase during conception influences the baby's gender
- 14% of women who have had a boy carried low, which is traditionally associated with carrying a boy.
