Mike Fisher To Retire From NHL

Mike Fisher (AKA Mr. Carrie Underwood) has officially announced his retirement from the NHL after a 17 year-long run. He ended his final season as captain of the Nashville Predators, leading the team to the Stanley Cup Finals.

While it's a sad day for Preds fans, another door always opens when one closes. Carrie Underwood shared on Instagram this morning how much she's looking forward to having Mike at home more often, to spend time with her and their son Isaiah. That, and the fact that now she'll have hubby by her side while they cheer on #Smashville together!
