Ever since Justin Timberlake performed alongside Chris Stapleton at the 2015 CMA Awards in Nashville, the Internet hasn't stopped wondering if JT would ever "go country". Well, we may finally have an answer!
It was announced earlier this week that Stapleton and Timberlake recorded a duet that will appear on JT's next album Man of the Woods, set to drop in early February. Timberlake has already revealed the album artwork and started teasing the first single off the album, "Filthy", that is already available for download and stream.
The trailer teasing the album's release tosses out some hints as to what we can expect to hear, including both pop and folk-style influences. According to Rolling Stone, the album was originally inspired by Timberlake's "growing family and Tennessee roots".
In addition to the collab with Stapleton, Timberlake has also recorded duets with Alicia Keys and Pharrell Williams.
