Adam Rippon Wins DWTS

Adam Rippon and Jenna Johnson won Dancing with the Stars: Athletes last night. The Olympic ice skater and his professional partner beat out their fellow finalists – former ice skater Tonya Harding and Sasha Farber and NFL cornerback Josh Norman and Sharna Burgess – to take home the coveted, mirror ball trophy.

ABC's abbreviated, four-week season was hosted by Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli were the judges.

Rippon, 28, is a figure skater who became the first openly gay U.S. male athlete to medal in a Winter Olympics. He earned a combined judges score of 58 out of 60 during Monday’s finale. Throughout this season’s abbreviated competition, Rippon impressed judges with his dancing skills alongside partner Jenna Johnson.

The three finalists showed off their dancing technique for the last time in two separate routines. The first was a choreographed number, but the second was the athlete’s highly-anticipated freestyle routines.

Here’s a rundown of the night’s dances, from highest to lowest judges’ score:
