Clarion Call Restoration Ministries (CCRM) will hold the first annual Redemption Run/Walk 5K Against Addiction on Saturday, September 7th at Winterplace Park in Salisbury. The 5K will be held in memory of Mac Wessels and Morgan Taylor, two friends who passed from an overdose on the same day in 2017. Family members of Mac and Morgan will be sharing their stories the day of the race, and are also forming teams in their memory: Mac Attack and Mission for Morgan. You can join their team online or form a team in memory of someone you love and have lost to addiction. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Clarion Call Restoration Ministries and the Fight Against Opiod Addiction.
Registration for the 5K Run/Walk is $25 for those over 18, and $20 for students 18 and under. There will also be a 1 Mile Prayer Walk with a $20 registration fee. Spectators are invited at no charge.
