Dierks Bentley, Darius Rucker And More To Perform Hurricane Relief Concert

The country music community is coming together show their support for those affected by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas.

Later this month (September) a handful of country music stars will hit the stage at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium for a benefit concert to raise money for those affected by the hurricane. The event will feature performances from artists including Darius Rucker, Randy Houser, Dierks Bentley, Sugarland's Kristian Bush, Florida Georgia Line, Devin Dawson, Hootie & the Blowfish's Mark Bryan, James Otto and more.

The evening was organized by singer-songwriter, Patrick Davis, who is also the founder of Songwriters in Paradise (SIP) Festival, an annual event in Hope Town on the Abaco Islands in the Bahamas. When Hurricane Dorian made its way through the Bahamas, hitting Hope Town and the Abacos first, Davis immediately took action. Through a GoFundMe campaign, Davis and the SIP Festival started raising funds to help with the damage caused by the storm. The campaign has now raised over $400,000 at this time.

On top of the funds raised through the GoFundMe campaign, the SIP Hope 4 Hope Town benefit concert will likely double the total. Proceeds from ticket purchases for the evening in Nashville will directly benefit those affected by the hurricane. In addition to the musical guests performing, the event will also feature an online auction.

Davis recently took to his Instagram page to share news on the SIP Hope 4 Hope Town event. "The outpouring of love for Hope Town & the Islands of Northern Bahama continue to amaze me..." Davis says in the caption. "Thank you to everyone in the #Hope4HopeTown team (so da*n many of you it is beautiful)...and thank you to @dariusrucker @randyhouser @dierksbentley & so many more from the @songwritersinparadise Family & beyond...and tickets to next Monday night are available...and the line up keeps gettin' bigger and better!"

The benefit concert is set to take place on September 16 at 7:30 PM at the Ryman Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now. For more information visit Hope4HopeTown.com.
