The FREE “Sneakers & Creepers” 5K Run/2 Mile Walk is an event presented by the Guerrieri Heart & Vascular Institute at Peninsula Regional Medical Center for the community, endorsing positive health practices. This event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels.
Costume Contest Divisions include:
- 0-12 (Children)
- 13 and up (Adult)
- Group Contest
- Pet Contest
The 5K Run/2 Mile Walk course will start and finish at the Avery W. Hall Educational Center on the campus of Peninsula Regional Medical Center. It is recommended that runners start up front and walkers line-up in back. Baby joggers and pets are welcome. No rollerbladers, skateboards or bicycles, please. There will be no official timing.
Packet Pick-Up/Registration will be held 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. at the Avery W. Hall Educational Center on the PRMC campus. Registration is FREE and the first 100 registered runners will receive a long-sleeve dry-fit shirt (must attend to receive shirt). The run/walk starts at 9:00 a.m. sharp. The post-race party will begin at approximately 10:00 a.m. and will include bagels, fruit and water, plus door prizes!
