Miles for Military 2020

In order to comply with local safety measures surrounding the pandemic while still supporting our military and first responders, we are taking Miles for Military VIRTUAL in 2020. Throughout the month of August, we invite you to make your charitable donation to Operation We Care online and get out to ride with a purpose on any day of your choosing. The first 100 registered riders will receive their commemorative event pin via mail (pins will be mailed out once the first 100 riders have registered).

100% of registration proceeds from the ride will benefit Operation We Care, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting local military, law enforcement, and fire/EMS. Miles for Military has raised more than $10,000 for Operation We Care since 2013 and proceeds are allocated towards offsetting the high costs of shipping care packages to deployed troops. The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic and is extremely contagious. The Miles for Military Event will be held virtually. Should you choose to ride on your own, you are assuming all risk of personal injury and property damages. Further, should you choose to gather with other people to ride, you are voluntarily assuming the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 and that such exposure or infection may result in losses including personal injury, illness, income loss, permanent disability, and death. All ride participants are advised to follow all COVID-19 related safety measures including CDC recommendations and are advised to not participate in a ride if you have been exposed to COVID-19 or have had symptoms within 72 hours.
