The Hinsdale Patch website says a La Grange Park, Illinois man was recently attacked by an owl while running in a forest preserve. Daire Barry says the owl hit him in the back of the head. "There's a huge bird flying around my head, My initial thought was that it was a hawk. Then it landed in a tree. I shined my light. It was a big brown owl. I was kind of freaking out.
