Turkeys Attack 80 Year-Old Woman: WBZ says a Cambridge, Massachusetts woman was recently attacked by two violent turkeys. Jeanette Atkinson was walking home when the turkeys began to follow her. They started pecking at her thighs before she crossed the street and sought refuge on the other side. Atkinson survived the attack and then got tetanus shots. The Cambridge Animal Commission is warning residents about the violent turkeys and says they can be fended off with umbrellas, bright lights, loud noises and water hoses.
