A new study by the diet tracking app MyFitnessPal reveals that at-home workers eat an extra 800 calories per day due to snacking. Workers eat 2,752 calories at home, compared to 1,961 calories at the office. At-home workers also take 3,500 fewer daily steps than office workers. 36% of at-home workers snack even when they are not hungry. 60% of at-home workers say they eat more unhealthy food when at home.
