A new study by Burns Pet Nutrition reveals that Dachshunds are the laziest dogs, sleeping for nearly 13 hours a day. Other findings:
- Beagles are the second laziest dogs, snoozing for 12.1 hours each day
- German Shepherds are the most active dogs, sleeping for only nine hours per day
- The average nap time for all dog breeds is 11 hours a day
