A new survey by Halfords reveals that 50% of drivers have "hidden" in their car for peace and quiet. Other findings:
- 40% of people escape to their car to avoid household chores
13% of people have hidden in their car from their partner
8% of people have hidden in their car from their in-laws
12% of people have hidden in their car from their own children
15% of people like hiding in their car because they can play their music as loud as they want
