A new survey by the Pet Emergency and Specialty Center reveals that 20% of people have lied to their boss in order to stay home and spend time with their pets. Other findings:
- 32% of people feel guilty when they leave their pet home alone
- 35% of people would decline a job offer if it meant spending less time with their pet
- 57% of people say working remotely has improved their pets’ overall quality of life
