Back-To-School Shopping Hits Record Highs

A new study by the National Retail Federation reveals that this year's back-to-school spending is expected to hit a record high of $43.3 billion, despite product prices surging. Other findings:

- 64% of parents expect to see higher prices when school shopping

- 46% of parents are still waiting for the right back-to-school shopping deals

- 38% of parents don't know what supplies their kids need for school yet

- 26% of parents start shopping at least two months before school starts

- 44% of parents start their shopping within a month of school starting
