A new survey by YouGov reveals that 42% of people say airline passenger etiquette has worsened over the past five years. Other findings:
- 52% of people say passengers themselves are most responsible for poor behavior
- 27% of people say loud talking or phone calls without headphones is the most annoying plane behavior
- 21% of people say reclining seats too far back or without warning is the most annoying plane behavior
- 51% of people say the window-seat passenger should control the shade
- 65% of people believe passengers should deplane row-by-row, front to back.
- 11% of people think the middle seat passengers should get both armrests.
