Tipping Fatigue Survey

A new survey by Popmenu reveals that 44% of people are tipping less this year than last.  Other findings:

- 42% of people would be comfortable skipping tips for some services altogether.

- Consumers are cutting tips most often at restaurants and for grocery delivery.

- 19% of people have reduced tips for ride-share services, hotel services and auto repair.

- Rising prices, inflation and tighter budgets are driving the cutbacks.

- Sit-down restaurants, coffee shops and carryout counters remain the places where consumers are most likely to tip.
