A new survey by Samsung reveals that people take an average of five selfies before choosing one they like. Other findings:
- 32% of people rarely get the perfect selfie on the first try
- 35% of people say their camera is packed with multiple versions of almost the same picture.
- 83% of people say fitting everyone inside the frame is a top priority in a group photo.
- 77% of people want everyone looking at the camera, while 75% want a natural moment.
- 65% of people look for the most flattering selfie angle while 63% want the lighting right.
- Gen Z'ers take an average of six shots before settling on one great selfie, compared with five for Millennials, four for Gen X, and three for Boomers.
- People are prepared to wait an average of three minutes while a friend retakes a group photo, but 26% get irritated in under a minute.
- 29% of people have given up on a group selfie because they could not fit everyone into the frame.
