The Women Of Country kickoff the CMA awards with amazing tributes

Last night's opening to the 53rd annual CMA awards was amazing! Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood and Dolly Parton singing the amazing song "Those Memories Of You" originally done by Dolly, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt.

I literally cried when three of my favorite fellow Georgia girls Jennifer Nettles (Sugarland) Kimberly Schlapman and Karen Fairchild (Little Big Town) paid tribute to the one of my country music heroes, the first woman to ever win CMA Entertainer of The Year - Loretta Lynn.

I sang at the TOP OF MY LUNGS (just like I did as a little girl) when Tanya Tucker sang "Delta Dawn."

All I can say is "HELL YEAH" to Gretchen from a "Redneck girl like me!"

Crystal Gayle still sounds amazing singing "Brown Eyes Blue"

Sara Evans, Martina McBride, The Highwaywomen, Terri Clark, were all amazing.

Thank you to the Women of Country for shaping my life and making me so very proud to be a country girl!
