Starbucks Employee Quits Job By Singing A Song To Store

**The tune has some cuss words in it, so careful listening in the work place or around children.

Toronto-based musical and sketch comedian Anesti Danelis worked at a Starbucks in Canada for years. He recently decided that he had enough as a barista, but instead of quitting quietly, he wrote a song. Danelis penned an original song and walked into his Starbucks during public hours and sang to the whole store that he was quitting.

The song discusses Danelis' time working at the coffee chain and his reasons for making the departure. The former barista even got some of his friends to come in and record the performance.

So then the performance got posted on YouTube and naturally went viral. Danelis confessed that while the song as many negatives in it and lots of cuss words dropping, he didn't have the intention of being overly negative to his manager. He told PEOPLE,

“The song was a little worse but I was like, ‘I can’t be mean, I can’t be negative, let’s just be an adult about it. It’s meant to be, ‘I’ve had enough working here, I’m gonna remove myself from a negative situation and move on.’ It’s about moving on and being happy, cause I don’t want to live in the negatives anymore and I think that’s what people related to.”
