When you name your new baby you might be having an impact on their future earnings. U.K. job search engine Adzuna analyzed British resumes and salaries to figure out what first-names earn the most at work. The top five boys names were: Ed ($79,300), Bill ($73,200), Geoff ($70,000), Bob ($68,400), and Mike ($68,400). The five most-valuable girls names were: Liz ($50,100), Jo ($50,000), Michele ($47,000), Alexis ($47,000) and Jean ($46,000.) Doug Monro, co-founder of Adzuna, commented, "As a rule of thumb, those with traditional names consistently rate as higher earners."
