A Maryland woman ordered soup and a sandwich from a local convenience store, but didn't know it would come with a side of 100-thousand dollars. The 64-year-old Adingdon resident won a lottery jackpot while her food was being prepared at a local Wawa store. She told Maryland Lottery officials she decided to use a spare 20-dollar bill as she waited, with a ten-dollar Lucky Numbers ticket hitting for the six-figure jackpot. She says she plans to retire and pay off loans with her winnings.
