Oscar Mayer's iconic Wienermobile has a new name. The road warrior is now called the Frankmobile. Oscar Mayer announced Wednesday the hot dog-shaped vehicles are being rebranded in honor of the company's new 100 percent Beef Franks. The vehicle rebrand comes nearly 87 years after the Wienermobile's historic debut. A fleet of Frankmobiles will hit the highways nationwide this summer with painted lettering on the side displaying the new name.
