A survey by Macmillan Cancer Support reveals that the average person spends 315 days of their life nursing hangovers. Other findings:

- 7% of people have more than 3,000 hangovers in their life

- the average hangover for a woman lasts 9 hours

- the average hangover for a man lasts 7 hours

- 10% of people have missed a job interview due to a hangover

- 7% of people have missed a first date due to a hangover

A survey by Redemption reveals that the average hangover lasts 9 hours and 45 minutes. Other findings:

- hangovers are the worst at age 29

- 66% of people have gone to work hungover on a Monday

- 33% of people believe making love cures a hangover

- 10% of drunks have posted something on Facebook they've regretted in the morning

- 20% of drunks have sexted someone they shouldn't have

- 10% of drunks have gotten naked in public

A survey by YouGov reveals that 49% of drinking 'heavyweights' have had a hangover in the past year. Other findings:

- 28% of drinking 'heavyweights' have had a hangover in the past month

The Hangover

A study by the Center for Disease Control reveals that hangovers cost employers $220 billion, or about $1.90 per drink, in lost productivity. 15% of binge-drinking adults are responsible for 75% of the lost productivity
