FAA Wants To Hire Gamers As Air Traffic Controllers

Business Insider says the FAA wants to hire gamers for vacant air traffic controller jobs. The government is specifically targeting gamers without college degrees who are fast thinkers and good at multitasking. New controllers can earn six figures in three years. The starting pay is around $55,000. The FAA needs to hire 3,000 controllers. They say the ideal gamer has "useful skills" including multitasking, spatial awareness, strategy, and problem-solving.
