A new survey by Resume.io reveals that 21.5% of people have lied on their resume in the past year. Other findings:
- 37.1% of Gen Z’ers have lied on their resume in the past year
- 3.7% of Boomers have lied on their resume in the past year
- 29.3% of Millennials admit to lying on their resume
- 38.9% of active job seekers admit to bending the truth on their resume
- 11.3% of Gen Z’ers are guilty of job title inflation
