A new survey by Harris reveals that 88% of people now avoid noisy and crowded places, costly outings and drinking gatherings. Other findings:
- 49% of people stay home to save money
- 68% of people do not feel going out is worth the expense
- 71.2% of people have reduced their spending on gatherings with friends over the past year
