My daughter, Hope got stung first walking the dog. Then, unaware of the HUGE nest hanging just out of reach above my head as I starting trimming a viburnum bush in my front yard, I disturbed them and hundreds maybe thousands of , what I've now learned are known as, Bald-Faced Hornets emptied out of the alien looking home to chase me away, stinging me repeatedly. These pests are aggressive and don't die after they attack with stingers they can use over and over as they inject their venom.
This Saturday, I'll go LIVE on Facebook as some PROs come in to remove the nest. Here's how some others have dealt with these pests using drones! I don't want to stir them up like this though. Hopefully the pest control guys can kill them and remove the nest so they don't try to rebuild another one. We'll see what happens together Saturday afternoon.
