Shania Twain shared her battle with stage freight instead of letting us know about her new music and left fans feeling kind of confused after her appearance on Tuesday night's The Late Late Show With James Corden. Prior to the show, Shania tweeted that she was "looking forward to talking new music with @JKCorden," but that never happened. She didn't make any announcements about her new single or album, the former of which was originally announced to be released in March. The album was scheduled for a May release, but that doesn't seem to be happening either.
Fans tweeted their displeasure in response, writing (@CoreyfnGrimes) "No mention of new music. Once! You owe us something big for that let down @ShaniaTwain," (@JKCorden) "In all fairness no one talked about your new music!!!!!!!" and (@TRISTANJosef) "Did I miss this during the interview?..."
According to a report, Shania's new album has been pushed back to this fall.
She is scheduled to hit the stage for the first time at the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, CA on April 29th.
