30 Year Old Man Ordered to Leave His Parents Home

A 30-year-old man who refused to move out of his parents' upstate New York home was ordered to leave by a judge yesterday. Michael Rotondo's parents had given him five notices since February that he had to go and even offered him $1,100 and some pointers to help him find his own place. But Rotondo, who runs a website business, still refused to leave, so his parents filed for an ejectment proceeding. He argued before the judge that he is owed six-months' notice, and claimed that for the past eight years after he moved back home when he lost a job he's never been expected to contribute any money to household expenses or do any chores. But New York State Supreme Court Judge Donald Greenwood didn't agree with Rotondo's arguments and ordered his eviction. He told reporters afterward that he plans to appeal. (CNN)
