'Bomb Cyclone' Winter Storm to Hit Delmarva

Harrington Raceway & Casino will be closing Thursday, January 4th at 11 a.m. and reopening Friday, January 5th at 8 a.m.

The 'bomb cyclone' winter storm is expected to arrive on Delmarva Wednesday evening, bringing with it cold temperatures and some snowfall. Residents near the Salisbury area may see around 3"-6", while those at the beaches and lower eastern shore of Virginia could see up to 9". Wind gusts overnight will increase to 20-30 mph, with the potential to reach up to 45 mph.
