The year was 1967 when drummer/producer Bobby Colomby and friends formed Blood, Sweat and Tears  bursting on to the music scene successfully blending rock, fusion and jazz into the unique style the group has been known for throughout the years. With their trademark sound featuring an incredible horn section, multiple Billboard top 40 hits would follow including such hits as “When I Die,” “God Bless the Child,” “Hi-De-Ho,” “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy,” and the classic hit “Spinning Wheel,” which helped give B,S & T their first GRAMMY award with “Album Of The Year”. That award would beat the Beatles album “Abbey Road” which was also nominated that year cementing B, S & T onto the music scene.

Throughout the years, B, S & T has evolved with new players and vocalists picked by Bobby Colomby himself keeping the legacy and music alive while introducing the group to a whole new generation. Heading up B, S & T as lead vocalist currently is American Idol season 4 runner-up Bo Bice who is garnering rave reviews wherever they perform. Bice was second to country superstar Carrie Underwood during that season and has had a successful career on his own with his trademark southern rock style. Bice, whose version of Spinning Wheel during one of the Idol shows, captured the attention of Colomby, who eventually would offer the job to Bice with B, S & T and several successful years have followed.
