The Entertainment Department at Harrington Raceway and Casino is proud to announce that country rising star Jimmie Allen is scheduled to perform at the Exhibit Hall on Saturday, February 9, 2019 as part of the Live On Stage series line-up.
For breakthrough country artist Jimmie Allen, a simple phrase sums up his view on life and music: never give up. A native of Southern Delaware, Allen knows what it’s like to start at the bottom in an industry that only the strong, talented and lucky survive. Whether it was living out of his car after his move to Nashville in 2007 or knocking on every door he could to get that lucky break, Allen would always keep to his musical dreams and love of true-to-themselves artists such as Alan Jackson, Aaron Tippon, Montgomery Gentry, and Jason Aldean to name a few that Allen has admired throughout the years. His recent tour opening up for country superstar Toby Keith has brought Allen to the forefront of country fans earning him a spot on the “One’s to Watch” list in country music. His song “Best Shot” is climbing the billboards top 20 list and is cementing Allen as a new star in country music.
