Blake Shelton Helps Craig Morgan's Amazing Song to Go to #1

Blake Shelton has been championing Craig Morgan's brand new single, "The Father, My Son and the Holy Ghost," and his frequent social media endorsements have paid off big time -- the song topped the all-genre iTunes songs chart yesterday! Blake tweeted, "Ladies and gentleman one of the hardest things to ever achieve in music is having a #1 selling song of ALL music ALL genres. You can’t fake it. The song has to touch people. Congratulations @cmorganmusic. This ones for Jerry."

The "Jerry" he is referring to is Craig's late son, who died in a tubing accident in the summer of 2016 at the age of 19. Blake and Craig have been friends for years, so Blake was particularly moved to hear Craig's song about his loss.

He reached out to such superstar friends as Ellen DeGeneres, Hoda Kotb, Gwen Stefani, and Carson Dalyto tweet about the song and encourage people to move it up the iTunes chart, and clearly it worked.
