A new survey by PR Newswire reveals that 78% of people agree that higher menu prices have made dining out more challenging this year. Other findings:
- 40% of people have reduced the number of times they dine out due to high prices
- 35% of people choose less expensive menu items when they dine out
- 25% of diners have decreased the amount they tip
- 20% of diners have switched to restaurants with lower menu prices
