The 2024 Maryland Folk Festival is almost here, and downtown Salisbury is gearing up for the event! Tomorrow (9/20) through Sunday (9/23), the festival will bring three days of music, culture, and entertainment. To prepare, several streets will be closed:
Street Closures:
- N. Division (Rt. 50 to Main): Closes 9/18 at 7 a.m., reopens 9/25 at 8 a.m.
- Church St. (St. Peter to Division): Closes 9/18 at 6 p.m., reopens 9/24 at 8 a.m.
- St. Peter (Main to Church): Closes 9/18 at 6 p.m., reopens 9/23 at 8 a.m.
- E. Main (Division to Court): Closes 9/17 at 7 a.m., reopens 9/25 at 8 a.m.
- One Plaza East Lot Entry: Closes 9/19 at 6 p.m., reopens 9/23 at 8 a.m.
- W. Main (Market to Division): Closes 9/18 at 6 p.m., reopens 9/24 at 8 a.m.
- Division (Market to Main): Closes 9/19 at 6 p.m., reopens 9/23 at 8 a.m.
- Lot 15 – East: Closes 9/20 at 8 a.m., reopens 9/23 at 8 a.m.
- Lot 1 – East: Closes 9/19 at 6 p.m., reopens 9/24 at 8 a.m.
- Lot 16: Closes 9/12 at 8 a.m., reopens 9/26 at 8 a.m.
- Circle Ave (Division to Garage Entry): Closes 9/19 at 6 p.m., reopens 9/23 at 8 a.m.
- Salisbury Headquarters Lot: Closes 9/19 at 8 p.m., reopens 9/24 at 8 a.m.
- E. Market (Behind SBY HQ – Division to Circle): Closes 9/20 at 8 a.m., reopens 9/24 at 8 a.m.
- Circle Ave (Market to Division): Closes 9/17 at 7 a.m., reopens 9/25 at 8 a.m.

- Free Parking: Available in the downtown parking garage during the festival.
- Plan Ahead: Allow extra time to navigate detours and reach your destination.
- Detours: Signage and detours will be in place to ensure smooth traffic flow.
