A survey by Vantage Leasing reveals that 12% of male drivers have a pet name for their car. Other findings:
- 40% of men have a female nickname for their car
- 17% of men have a nonsensical nickname for their car.
- 20% of men would rather spend time with their car than their partner.
- 12% of men say their partner is jealous of their car
- 14% of men have avoided spending time with a loved one by washing their car.
- 37% of men have had a conversation with their car
- 22% of men say their car is playful
- 13% of men have tried to imagine what their car would look like if it were human
