Ashley McBryde debuted a heartfelt ballad with a classic Western sound on Friday morning (December 6). The Grand Ole Opry member declares in the lyrics, there “Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs.”
McBryde, who was recently honored in her Arkansas hometown, said the song “embodies so much that I hold dear…hard work, dedication, and integrity.” The award-winning country star has previously shared sneak peeks of her newest single during some of her live performances and posts on Instagram, including when she wrote in a caption: “No substitute for resilience, no replacement for kindness. This one’s for the cowboys who taught us how to stand tall.”
“I'd love to ride into the sunset/ But there's no wild out west, no prairie to roam/ Or a high enough lonesome to get far enough gone/ There ain't enough cowboy songs”
“Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs” is McBryde’s latest single to release. Her most recent full-length album is The Devil I Know, an 11-track project that arrived in September 2023 (followed by Golden Gal, Girl in Red and Blackout Betty). The full record included “Made For This,” “Coldest Beer In Town,” “Light On In The Kitchen,” the title track and other highlights. Listen to McBryde's “Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs” here:
